Kailani is a very caring person who is willing to help
anyone in need. She will fight for what she believes in
without being harsh or resorting to physical violence, if she

History:
The oldest of three, Kailani is next in line to rule Oceana, her kingdom.
With their beloved kingdom under threat of take over by the Black Ait,
King Poseidon and Queen Amphitrite sent their three children away
so they could not be captured. In the midst of their escape the attack came.
The siblings barely escaped. Kailani made the difficult decision to split up.
They twins, Prince Jayson and Princess Riv'era, did not like the plan and protested.
Kai stuck to her decision and took on that big sister, no questions asked, tone
and they knew their argument was futile.
Kai went toward Prynne to seek aid.
That's where she told her brother and sister she'd be.
They have not seen each other sense they split off.
Kailani worried about the two a lot but she had her own
things to deal with as King Charles, the ruler of Prynne, had fallen ill
and it looked as though he was dying. Her situation and the steps the king
had taken to help her would be passed to his eldest son, King Brian.
This young man did not seem interested in being king.
Kailani was concerned he would not help her.
King Charles's other son, Prince Jared, seemed like he was the one
who should rule, but who was she to judge. Jared would make a fine king.
She had grown close to Jared in her time with the Hawkreaver family.
They seemed to have a lot in common and could talk for hours. Jared was very concerned
for the situation at home in her own kingdom and he was her hope that help would come
for them. Kailani was anxious to get things going because she missed her home
and worried that she would return to find nothing left of her home and her family killed.

Kailani was sad to part with her sister and brother but they had to stay safe for the future of their kingdom. It was already sad leaving their home and their parents. She turned to Jayson and Riv'era, "You know the only way we will be safe is if we split up. Who knows when and if our enemies will begin searching for us and what will happen when they find us. I'll go to our neighbors in Prynne and see if we can get their help. You HAVE to find somewhere safe to hide. Taken on a new persona, find some less noticeable clothes, our fine clothes will draw too much attention. We do have allies in other towns. Be careful." She stressed the last part and hugged each of them in turn.
Trying hard not to cry and to be strong for her siblings, Kai turned away pulling her hood up to hide her distinctive looks and headed for the marina where she'd already sent word to the captain of a ship called The Mermaid, who was loyal to the royal family, that she would be coming aboard and needed his discretion and protection to aid her escape. Telling him her destination was Prynne and making arrangements for him to be taking a shipment of goods to that kingdom so no questions would be raised.
